Alex van Wyst writes adventures and mysteries in the fantasy and sci-fi genres. There is often a dash of humour and a sprinkle of mischief in his writing, no doubt due to a compulsive irreverent streak in his personality. When not writing he enjoys fixing up his dilapidated old house, travelling off the beaten path, and playing sports that involve rounded bits of flattened plastic that bounce around a lot. He lives with cats and cat-like people in a small village north of Guelph.
