Cynthia Garriock writes women’s fiction that celebrates the complexities of family, motherhood, forgiveness and the resilience of the human spirit. The Adoption is her debut novel. Cynthia lives in southern Ontario, where family remains at the heart of everything she does. When she’s not writing, she spends time with her children and grandchildren, volunteers at the local humane society, or helps protect Ontario’s at-risk turtles.
