Jessica Fitz is a Guelph based author of Canadian Historical romance, focused primarily on the War of 1812. Her first book is called Lucy Breaks a Promise, about the widow of a private in the 41st Regiment of Foot, caught alone between the siege of Detroit and the Battle of Queenston Heights. You can find her at reenactments as the assistant to a Chapman, selling period accurate chapbooks along with her own books. She was inspired to write her own romance stories after the open door scenes had inexplicably been ripped out of almost all of the romance novels in the Guelph downtown library some years ago. She writes when she can find time outside of her day job and spending time with her family.
