The Tragedies collects John Galt's verse drama adaptations of plays by William Shakespeare – Maddelen, Agamemnon, Lady Macbeth, Antonia, and Clytemnestra – some of which have never before been published apart from Galt's memoirs. The collection is edited by David J. Knight, and includes an introduction by Nick Ford in the form of a verse drama.
